Economic Front (EF) president Wynter Kabimba has told his fellow opposition political party leaders that HH and UPND must not go beyond 2026, reports Asa Manda.
The opposition political parties are coming together for a consolidated vote and ensure the UPND is voted out.
Kabimba a seasoned politician and former Minister told his Colleagues that the campaign must be coined around telling Zambians about the Hakainde Hichilema (HH) laying into government.
“My message is very clear, the UPND government came into power with a trade mark of lying. HH and the UPND have continued to lie to the Zambian people, even as their campaign promises have not been delivered, the man has no sense of humility to apologize to the Zambian people,” Kabimba said.
“Our appeal as EF, our appeal as members of this opposition coalition is to say to the Zambian people, you gave MMD 25 years, PF 11 years, give the UPND only five years. HH and the UPND in 2026 must go.” Kabimba added. “Don’t wait for them longer than that because the distraction that they are going to cause to this country will be irreversible.”
HH swept into power in 2021 with a promise of creating jobs, lowering cost of living and creating business opportunities among other promises. This was after five unsuccessful bid to the top position of the land.
