“Joining Amazulu is a good achievement for me. I have been following Amazulu for a long time, it’s a club that’s well known especially in my country because people love watching the PSL,” he said.
“It’s a team that’s not new to me, It’s a great club, I just have to work hard and help my club go forward. Every player dreams of playing well and achieve your goals in the season and the help the club do very well.”
Bwalya played his last match for Simba SC on Sunday. Simba came from a goal down to beat Kinondoni MC 3-1 thanks to a star performance by Papa Ousmane Sakho who scored a goal and set up the other two.
In his time at Simba SC Bwalya helped the club to three titles including the Tanzania Mainland Premier League, Azam Sports Confederation Cup, Revolutionary Cup and community shield something he will be hoping to replicate at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
He also helped Simba reach the quarter finals of the African Champions League 2020/2021 season and African Confederation Cup in the 2021/2022 season.
