NAPSA Stars and Kansanshi Dynamos recorded wins as the MTN Super League made a return following a short recess during the September FIFA international window.
Seven matches took centre stage across the country with Nchanga Stadium hosting a double header.
NAPSA Stars returned to winning ways as they cruised to a 3-0 win over FC MUZA. Jimmy Mukeya, Musonda Kapembwa and Austin Banda netted a goal each to seal a fantastic afternoon for the Pensioners.
In Chingola, Goals from Marvin Jere and Gerald Chisha gave the Mabanga Boys three maximum points as they eased past Green Eagles in an early kick off.
In the second match of the day at Nchanga Stadium, Ronald Chibwe netted late in additional time to level matters after Alex ‘Bazo’ Ng’onga had put Nkana in the lead from the penalty spot in the 67th minute.
Nkana finished the match with ten men after Stephen Chulu was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 76th minute.
At Edwin Imboela Stadium, Green Buffaloes came from two goals down to hold log leaders Prison Leopards to a 2-2 draw.
David Obashi and Lubinda Mundia put the Collect Boys in the lead on the first half but late goals from John Kosamu and George Ngoma rescued a point for Masauso Tembo’s men.
At Sunset Stadium, Abraham Siankombo netted a late equalizer to level matters and rescue a point for Zanaco who held Champions, Red Arrows to a 1-1 draw.
Lumwana Radiants and Kabwe Warriors played to a goalless draw and so did Forest Rangers and Chambishi.
