Zambia Super League side, ZESCO United has made changes to their technical bench with immediate effect.
Alfred Lupiya has returned to Ndola as second assistant to Numba Mumamba replacing Emmanuel Siwale according to a statement by club Communications manager Desmond Katongo availed to the ZamFoot Crew.
The club has also appointed club legend Winston Kalengo as a physical trainer while Jacob Banda replacing Emmanuel Msichili as goalkeeper coach.
“ZESCO United management has with immediate effect appointed Malaiti Rangers Head Coach, Alfred Lupiya as club second Assistant coach.”
ZESCO United Chief Executive Officer, Charles Kalala disclosed the development to the club’s media team.
“Following the Executive meeting held on June 21, 2022, ZESCO United has with immediate effect appointed Alfred Lupiya as second Assistant coach to Numba Mumamba replacing Emmanuel Siwale. We have also appointed former club goalkeeper, Jacob Banda as goalkeeper coach taking over from Emmanuel Msichili,” Kalala said.
“We have further appointed former ZESCO United veteran striker Winstone Kalengo as club physical trainer taking over from Clive Hachilensa. I wish to take this opportunity to thank the three officials for serving the club with great diligence and for contributing to the team’s success,” Kalala added.
Team Ya Ziko finished second in the 2021/2022 Zambia Super League season and will represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup.
